Spider-Man: No way Home

I loved this movie! I just love Spider-Man movies, so it really should come as no shock that I loved this movie. There are tons of things that can spoil this movie and I really don’t want to be the reason why someone doesn’t enjoy this movie as much as they should. I am kind of assuming that anyone reading this will have already seen it, but for some reason if you haven’t, I will try to label all the potential spoilers before I blurt them out.

I continue to be amazed by this Spider-Man franchise! How supernatural the story is yet how “homey” and relatable the actors make it is just so awesome! **SPOILER ALERT** (When the other actors who portrayed Spider-Man over the years came into this movie, it still felt small and “homey,” which is such a pleasant feeling to have.) I believe that the writing does the work to create an environment of comfort and peacefulness in a movie. So go writers! Also, Tom Holland. I know I am being stubborn about this issue but I strongly believe it is relevant. Tom Holland's background in stage acting plays a role in how the movie is perceived by many people. I mean, that has to be right, right? Acknowledge me!

Speaking of Tom Holland, this movie just adds more fuel to the argument that I want to be him. He is such a good actor! I am not a huge cryer in movies, I occasionally cry but I mostly just feel sad rather than cry. He was close to getting me though! **SPOILER ALERT** (Aunt May dies, which is POINTLESS!!!!!!!! Anyway, when it happens, Tom Holland’s character is like, what are you doing? And how relatable is that?! I don’t know for sure but I think if someone was dying around me, I would react the same way. It reminds me of the clip in Avengers: Infinity War where Spider-Man gets dusted. Breaks my heart.)

Zendaya, I’ve already said this, can do whatever she wants. It’s the same in this movie. One thing I noticed that I really liked is that she is still the same person even though she and Peter are together. Remember how when Tony Stark and Pepper Potts got together and Pepper kind of became a new person? I was happy to see Zendaya’s character generally remained the same. Cold and dry. I love it! I feel sad for Ned. I know that friends usually get relegated to the back burners when love-interests are involved but I like Ned. I am happy the movie is trying to include his character still but the jokes at his expense and stuff makes me sad. Look at me, I'm such a softie nowadays, apparently.

**SPOILER ALERT** Ahem, okay does anyone else think it’s weird that two friends from the same high school are going to MIT? MIT is insanely hard to get into so I don’t think it’s very likely that they both got in. but whatever.

I really loved this movie! It gave Peter Parker some depth so that we can feel for him more as a character. It’s great! You’ll love it.
